Of all the spring trees in flower right now, and there are many that are so beautiful (I'm especially partial to some of those cherry hybrids), there is still one that stands as my favorite. Not the flashiest or whatever, but I just cannot NOT smile when I see it: dogwoods in bloom. It just hits my happy place right.
