SPN 4.20 The Rapture

In the spirit of trying not to analyze too much ‘til we have the rest of this season’s episodes, since it is obvious that these final chapters are playing out one continuous storyline, I’ll keep this very brief.

Kripke’s trying to kill us.

And back to the Wizard of Oz, and “I just want to go home” and yellow brick roads paved with good intentions leading one down the garden path, because home is not at the end of the line.

Another family torn apart in the war between Angels and Demons, more collateral of the “be careful what you wish for” variety, and Sammy’s BUSTED. Also, Castiel got busted, and I suspect he was trying to pass on to Dean info of the “prophecy from Chuck” variety. And now he doesn’t want to be Dean’s BFF. Aww.

And Dean dreams of peace and rest.

But you can’t go back. Everything has changed and there is no rest for our Wayward Sons.

On the more humorous front: Dean’s “inappropriate”/ill-timed compliment on Anna’s… appearance – HEE! Oh Dean, never change.

Also – apparently Castiel fights better as a little girl than as an adult guy.
