While listening to an Anne Dudley CD, there was this one number that just sounded straight out of my Lord of The Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring soundtrack. (Yes, I have eclectic taste in music, and certain movie soundtracks are AWESOME to listen to.) Hmm. Now I'm curious and am going to have to dig through my CDs to see if there is a connection or if my brain is messing with me. Also, I now have a desire to rewatch LofRs again. Good thing we're going into a hiatus period for my shows -- I think I'll have time to fit this in in December. Directors Cuts, oh yeah. Just a drive-by post to note that I'm still working on my SPN review. It's kinda extra hard this week because I keep on hitting that rewind button and crying. I don't think I've cried this hard since NRftW. Dear BE: You did something really right when you make me remind myself that this is just a TV show, these characters are not real people. And still I feel gutted. So I'm still avoiding looking around on the Flist to read other thoughts yet, because... my mind, she is blown to bitty bits and I'd like to get my review finished before I check out other posts and get even more distracted. Well, I forgot that Criminal Minds was not a new ep tonight but rather a repeat, so after anticipating all day... *sigh* On the upside - I really do need an early night, and CM usually requires some unwinding time post ep, so I guess that works out. Quick drive-by post Got my own laptop last week -- first personal computer I've ever had. I also apparently have access to free Wifi at my place -- I'm assuming the couple of open networks my new pet is picking up is coming from one (or more) of the businesses just down the block. The connection is spotty and intermittent, but hey, free internet access, and if/when I get frustrated with it I can always go the library or a Starbucks or something and use their wireless access. Now I just need to finish learning all the ins and outs of Fuzzy.
