Jumping topics now to SPN -- I hear we're jumping week nights, from Friday to Wednesday at 9pm. I have very mixed feelings about this. From a network POV -- it actually is a good thing, potentially. I see that. I just... am totally bummed about the new date/time, because that is when Criminal Minds is on, and so now my Wednesday nights are overbooked and I will be wrangling my TV hours and having late nights on a work night midweek, and argh! Well, we'll see how that shakes out. I am committed to keeping up on both my shows, so I'll make it work somehow.

Also -- my review for the SPN season finale will be delayed, because I get to have a fangirl weekend, so I'll be offline for awhile. Yay!! I will still get it out, just... late. So excited for this weekend.

Criminal Minds season finale tonight: Whew! Two hour finale? 2nd night in a row I've had a two hour episode special. This is turning a later night than I planned. But that's okay. I'm glad they didn't try to crunch everything into 1 hour. ( Read more... )

Just watched an older episode of Food Network's Chopped: Champions from ... 2010, I believe, and in the first round one of the basket ingredients was Rocky Mountain Oysters.

HILARIOUS! Two of the contestent chefs this episode were men, two were women. Their reactions were quite amusing. I couldn't help thinking that Dean would have enjoyed the hell out of watching this episode, and bugged the crap out of Sam by refusing to turn the channel and then proceed to talk about that ingredient all the rest of the night. Also, Dean probably would have really been cheering on the female chef who commented on their size, told the donating bull "bravo", and proceed to cook them up without a sign of squeamishness. She'd be his total package: attractive, likes big balls, and can cook. Trifecta. LOL!

2 power outages for my home in the 24 hours due to high winds. Over 1500 homes in my county yesterday was affected, don't know today's count. Last night being the first, for which I went over to my family's home for dinner and to watch Person of Interest. By the time I got back my power was restored. Yay. Then I get home from work today and my clocks are blinking at me AGAIN, telling me I lost power while gone at work. That's all fine and dandy, but I darn well better not lose power during my SPN tonight, or I will feel a powerful urge to bust a cap in some direction. Somewhere. Please please please, wind, play nice for the next several hours. That's all I ask. Then you can go nuts again.

Okay, first of all, this week's Criminal Minds freaking ROCKED THE HOUSE!!! I totally have thoughts on the episode that I meant to post -- THANK YOU RL FOR SCREWING UP THAT PLAN. I may eventually post a few comments, but I do have a couple of other things going on that are demanding my attention right now.

Proper review coming later this weekend, if I can get a handle on this episode.

RL has been kicking me in the fanny this last couple of weeks. Nothing especially traumatic, just staying piled busy with too many things needing doing and not enough hours in the day with a side of stressing because of feeling a bit overwhelmed and exhausted trying to keep up.

I didn't get the eps of SPN rewatched that I had planned, I didn't get a meta done that I had some thoughts on, BUT...

YAY! Today is New SPN Friday!!!! Woot!

That has been my happy thought for the day. 3-1/2 more hours to go until 9pm. :)
